I know these words, but I never thought I'd see them all in the same sentance.

Do you know anything about the monkeys on the rock of Gilbralter and how they relate to the British? I heard a story about British troops going into Nazi occupied Africa to get monkeys to replenish the stock on 'The Rock.' The story goes that if the monkeys disappear on 'The Rock', so will the British. I don't know where I heard that story, I was on 'The Rock' in the early sixties. So.....

More big guns ;-)

Thanks for the article. BTW, they let the monkeys have their way with the place. They move around the streets unmolested, etc. at will. (at least that was the case in the early sixties)
