American Wife of Convicted Terror Conspirator Says Husband Incapable of Murder; Osama bin Laden 'Was a Great Boss ... Not the Monster People Make Him Out to be'

Continues NEW YORK, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- April Ray El-Hage, a 34-year-old suburban Dallas housewife, describes her husband Wadih El-Hage, who, for several years, was the personal secretary of terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden, as a sweet man, a warm-hearted bumbler who is better at reading to his children than running a business -- and who is utterly incapable of plotting mass murder. "He didn't do anything. Everybody loves him," she tells Newsweek in an exclusive interview in the current issue. And bin Laden? "He was a great boss," she says. "He's not the monster people make him out to be."

Osama bin Laden 'Was a Great Boss ... Not the Monster People Make Him Out to be'

In tapes Osama made for broadcast by first the Muslim TV and then the world, Osama bin Laden praises the attacks on the the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. He over and over thanks Allah for assisting in the attacks.

If those attacks were done by Israel and the CIA, dosen't that make Allah a supporter Israeli and CIA agenda?

Here's some research on April, FYI:

Trial transcript of USA v. Usama Bin Laden trial mentioning April El Hage's attempts to get her husband to contact terrorist leader who called at home (see esp. "the other one):

Transcript (--There are other transcripts from different days in court basically mentioning the same calls.)

"Frontline" article talking about April, her arranged marriage, travels with husband, the terrorist she called "the black Ronald McDonald", etc.:

Frontline: Portrait of Wadih El Hage (good read)

May 21, 2001 article regarding hubby's trial with pic of April and the future jihadist son...hope not, he sounds like here a very American kid!

Wife of Accused Bomb Suspect Waits

April El-Hage and her son Abdullah El-Hage>

What do they say, converts are the most extreme??? Dallas News, 5/22/01

"A convert to Islam, the former April Brightsky Ray married Mr. el Hage in an arranged marriage when she was 18. Her mother, an American who also converted to Islam, was a nurse in Afghanistan. Mr. el Hage, born a Catholic in Lebanon, converted to Islam before moving to the United States in 1978 to study at the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Since their marriage, they have traveled the world together.

Here's a weirder one from the NY Times, sounds like hubby is mentally ill???

"Suspect in Terror Case Is Mistreated, Wife Says"

New York Times

November 22, 2000

By LOWELL BERGMAN and BENJAMIN WEISER

http://www.nytimes.com/2000/11/22/nyregion/22TERR.html

The wife of one of the defendants in a government terrorism prosecution says federal jail officials in Manhattan have been retaliating against her husband ever since two other defendants in the case were accused of stabbing and critically injuring a guard.

Her husband, Wadih El-Hage, has not been accused of any role in the stabbing. But April El-Hage said by phone this week that as a result of actions taken against him by the authorities, his mental state has deteriorated sharply in recent weeks. Mr. El-Hage no longer recognizes his lawyer, his wife said, nor does he remember that he has a family.

We need the Military Tribunal. These wives and their statements would not be allowed to be in the press. Nothing would be allowed in the press - geeeee, does that sound like the press would be happy about that situation - and does that tell you why the PRESS is making such a stink about the tribunals??

And ... does that tell you why we need them??

"He [bin Laden] was a great boss," she says. "He's not the monster people make him out to be."

OK, April - just for laughs, why don't you go over to Saudi Arabia and pretend to renounce Islam for a week?

I'll bet the crowd would yuck it up. ;-)

She is opposed to killing civilians, but if the jihad against the enemies and corrupters of Islam goes on, and her 15-year-old son wants to fight, then she'd consider letting him join when he comes of age, she tells Newsweek in the January 14 cover story "Married to Al Qaeda" (on newsstands Monday, January 7).

Give the boy a Cessna. Just kidding. I hope he's being watched closely.
