Follow the link to the original article and scroll down: there you can see, at the bottom, the ugly record of India's nutball Hindu nationalist government, which is now threatening the whole region with nuclear war.

The Pakis are doing their share to provoke the Hindus, namely by LAUNCHING A FRIGGIN' TERRORIST ATTACK ON THE INDIAN LEGISLATURE. The Pakis support terrorist attacks against India, which are essentially acts of war. Pakistan is trying to provoke a war, India is just threatening to defend itself.

Uh huh. Sounds pretty party-line to me, but the question is: which party? The same parties that are killing Christians in India? Do you think we should be supporting these thugs? And, if so, why?

the ugly record of India's nutball Hindu nationalist government, which is now threatening the whole region with nuclear war. One wonders how much worse it would be were sexual deviants in charge of a nation of sexual perverts which had nuclear weapons.

In November, about 400 VHP activists desecrated and forcibly took over a church belonging to the Evangelical Church of India in the Surat district, Gujarat state. They removed the church's cross from the altar, replacing it with Hindu idols. They also hoisted a saffron flag, symbolizing that the church had become a place of Hindu worship. A five-member fact-finding team headed by John Dayal, secretary general of the All-India Christian Council (AICC), alleged that Hindu fundamentalist organizations were trying to convert the church into a temple.
Gee, ya think?
Reached for comment, X42 Bill Clinton stated he remembered those churches being violently converted to temples by racists when he was just a boy...oh, wait. Wrong country.
To: Justin Raimondo
The archbishop says the violence is linked to Christian efforts to serve the downtrodden in India, such as the Dalits (formerly known as untouchables). Just thought this needed to be highlighted.

Sounds pretty steamy, "Cultural Jihad." Try not to get too excited, though.

I notice you had to reach back 11 months into the past for this one.
If you're auditioning for Jamaat-i-Islami or something, I don't think you'll qualify for membership.

Pakistan persecutes its Christian minority just as badly, if not worse. We haven't already forgotten all those praying christians who were gunned down in their church not but a couple of months ago in Pakistan, have we? Pakistan and India are just two in a long list of brutalizers of Christians....read "Their Blood Cries Out" by Paul Marshall, no need for a google-eye search. At least you're an "equal opportunity" basher of U.S. allies though...haha...

An "ally" that threatens a nation where US soldiers are stationed with
nuclear annihilation is an "ally"? Of whom? The entire cold war saw New Delhi toeing the Soviet line and hating America. Some "ally"!
No, it wasn't the US that recently concluded an arms deal with India -- that was Israel. But isn't it funny how some people get these two quite different countries confused in their minds?

The Marxists of yore thank you for
continuing their anti-American efforts.

At least you're an "equal opportunity" basher of U.S. allies though...haha... Apparently so are you. May I remind you of exactly where our sons and daughters are currently stationed?
Heres a clue, Its not India.

Persecution of religious minorities stirs Christian outrage against government inaction.
A new Free Methodist Church in India was bulldozed with the help of a multinational company based in Great Britain. They've finally started to rebuild it, but the multinational company has still not suffered for its part in the Hindu anti-Christian movement.

They can kill Christians in India all they want as long as they don't take it beyond their borders. Muslims tend to do this.

And Christians are being bashed and demonized right here in the USA- soon the bashing will become unbearable, and the wheat clearly defined from the chaff and the sheep from the goats.
The hatred that the bastards feel toward the true children of God, is a revelation in and of itself. They are driven by the need to destroy the heirs of salvation, with the expectation that they, the bastards, will recieve the inheritance intended for the children.
The hard times behind are a picnic, compared to the hard times ahead for true Christians.
To: Justin Raimondo
Gee, I say the Pakis are creating instability in their region by supporting terrorist attacks in another country, and you accuse me of persecuting Christians. Give me a break!

If you think the position of Christians is bad in India (which it is), think how much worse it is in Pakistan, to say nothing of Sudan, Indonesia, etc.
Any Christian would take the Hindus anyday over the Muslims.

We don't have to support the thugs, Justin, but we do need to work with India, given that they are the other nation who is under direct attack by Al Qaeda thugs trained and financed by Bin Ladin. Not to do so would be inconsistent, to say the least.
The current leadership, we would point out, was elected, after their most pro-U.S. Prime Minister in years, in the early '90's, was given the back of the hand by Bill Clinton, who funded and assisted India's thousand year enemy in every way he could, thus substantially contributing to giving the Hindu nationalists the upper hand in the ensuing elections. It would seem, however, that the pendulum could swing back if we work with rather than against India as Clinton did. Little matters like giving the Panama Canal to the Chinese, which you deemed irrelevant, did not seem so to many in India.
