The problem is that what you choose as being right about this issue for you in this particular case would be considered evil. The outcome of letting illegal drug users grow and get their stuff easier would be the ruin of America in the long run. It is unethical and immoral to use illegal drugs.

What's your opinion of FedGov's DEA going into the states (like mine and yours) who legalized marijuana for medicinal purposes, and arresting the patients and the co-ops who supplied them based on federal laws? Do you approve?

Calling someone a moral-liberal implies that they live a morally liberal lifestyle in their own homes and personal life. That is not fair as it is not necessarily the case. No one is able to help you with your word associations. Moral-liberal is NOT the same as libertine. Rather, being a moral-liberal is to be morally-permissive.

Are you forgetting to close your "sarcasm" tags, or do you really believe what you've been posting?

Kubby and his LP "activists" with their storefront pushing operations have pretty much ruined it for any patients who might have legitimate medical needs.

That would be corrupt, immoral and deviant.

Prohibitions on private non-criminal activities
Selling and shooting a short barreled shotgun IS a crime. There are laws against. When they arrest you for it, the law provides for a number of due process safeguards. You get a lawyer. You get a jury. If convicted, you get three hots and a cot.
Yep, But it's still an unconstitutional law, isn't it roscoe?

It is unethical and immoral to use illegal drugs. Hmm...interesting point. Let me ponder that while I smoke this joint. In the meantime, perhaps you'd like to address my previous question: How is the U.S. likely to function in a world where our major allies have abandoned the Drug War model?

I don't take kindly to policies that punish the innocent. How can it be right to deny sick people their medicine just to make sure there aren't any "cheaters". It's a sadistic practice and unbefitting a civilized country.
I fail to see why it's anyone else's business if an adult chooses to ingest whatever substance, as long as he doesn't go frothing about in public.

But it's still an unconstitutional law, isn't it roscoe? Dead wrong.

...who legalized marijuana for medicinal purposes... Considering that the Libertarians want to allow anyone to purchase and consume any substance in any quantity for any purpose at any time for any reason, even unto agonizing death, your "medical purposes" argument falls pretty flat.
To: MadameAxe
Not at all, why don't you get the habits started throughout your own family as an example and well see what seeds bloom in a few years? I would hope you would be afraid of them enough to not want to do that.
Illegal drugs are immoral, unethical and could easily ruin all people who use them.

I don't take kindly to policies that punish the innocent. Like legalizing crack?

Um, it's not an "argument", the citizens, like, ya know, voted, and passed a law...

Let me guess -- public school (and DARE program) graduate?

Imaginary candidates and imaginary votes exist only in the imagination of the imaginers.
