Excellent post, and an excellent testimonial. The JPFO seems, in a lot of ways, to be a lot more on the ball than the NRA. This only makes sense to me; if ever there were a group of people that has exeperienced the results of being disarmed, it is the Jews. Yet so many are ant-gun; 'tis a puzzlement.

passing it along

Thank you much- that's exactly what I'm trying to do.... nearly all of us here see the foolishness of such things; the trick is to open the eyes of others--

Jamaica is a country I would not care to visit

What really impressed me was how beautiful the island was, how lovely the speech ( quasi-British ), and how dam' poor most people were.... basically, there was no middle class- which is the foundation for a representative government of any kind.

There were "those who had some kind of link to the government"-- they seemed to do OK... and "everyone else"- dirt poor!

neglects to mention that the Senators have the anthrax vaccines, the smallpox shots, the underground shelters stocked like luxury hotels, emergency medical services and the secret service and national guard to protect them. I guess us common folk are just expected to be killed

I could not agree more-- see my comments about how Jamaica lacks a middle class.... it's "perfumed princes" or dirt poor-- nothing in between!

Oh, Yes!

IMO, the NRA's main function is to draw fire from the rabid Anti's so the smaller groups can "slip in under their radar..."

I won't go into the pros & cons of the NRA's Project Exile; let's just say it sounds good in theory but has some really bad potential....

Again, I will point out that seven nations enacted gun control laws. After doing so, they then rounded up and exterminated all of their political dissidents.

The next time someone proposes gun control laws, ask them which group of people they would like rounded up and exterminated.

Thank you for the bump and the article.

Thanks for the flag. This article points out how the US stands ABOVE the other countries of the world. And to think....there are left-tilters who want to make us no better than the rest, by shredding the Constitution. Maybe, the day will come, where they have a taste of what they preach and push. I'm hoping. And ALSO hoping that there won't be a 2nd Amendment type around to save their butts.

Thanks for the Heads-up! A good read.

Similar to situation in Taiwan, without the roaming bands of thugs! However, everyone in Taiwan gives this advice when you find an intruder robbing you in the dead of night: "Lie still and pretend you are sleeping. For if you resist, the intruder is likely armed and will kill you!"

Easy to get an illegal weapon here, thanks to smuggled guns from China; hard to find decent people with guns.

OK, so have you ladies contacted her to get her as a spokeswoman?

And has anyone introduced her to Bob Barr or Bob Smith so that she can testify against the BS that the antis are introducing in 2002????

Sounds like she would make a great witness at a Senate hearing...

Last time I'd heard Jamaica spoken of followed an incident which happened to an acquantance of our's.
He & she made the mistake of renting a Jamaican villa for their, "vacation."
The midnight intruder who'd entered their condo in the dead of the night stabbed this man in the abdomen repeatedly.
The intruder was caught, alright; and, subsequently hung.

My bride & I love vacationing at any one of the lovely island nations of the caribbean's lower Antilles chain; however, guns or no guns?
Jamaica and St. Lucia are defininetly off our itinerary, forever.
The incredible numbers of black racist Marxists make those places suitable only to our good, card carring Democrats here, as far as we're concerned.

...we've sentenced these peoples to the worst possible thing we could've; themselves.

I been fighting this fight for over two years now. I am glad to see more people getting on board! The 2nd Amendment is the CORNERSTONE of our liberty! The Foundering Fathers knew this to be true beyond the shadow of a doubt.

"The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"!
