You certainly know how to hit the nail squarely on the head. I wonder as this thread grows how many will give your reply a "bump to the top". There is not doubt we are "Slouching towards Gomorra" having already arrived at Sodom. And today we have this marvelous medium, where we can blithely sit at our keyboards, in the comfort of our homes and offices, type out shock and dismay over this, pump out our chests, SCREAM AT THE TOP OF OUR LUNGS, then yawn and go to bed satisfied we have done our duty as citizens of the republic.

I've got this nice person in the office that just started the other day and we've already butted heads on this issue and about everything else. When I pointed out to her the ideals of the Constitution that she so preciously tries to fall back on were never meant to cover such behavior, all she can do is stutter.

Somehow, I do not have much doubt that, sooner or later, this country will grow tired of its presently base and shallow culture. This may not happen any time soon --- purhaps, not until those born at the turn of this century grow up and trace their loneliness to the broken homes of their childhood.

I do believe that such time will come, however. At that turning point, will America still remember what is once was? That is the quesion that concerns me most.

Plain and simple, this is the fault of the parents. They have allowed this, supported this, endorsed this, financed this, protected this, and publicly paraded this for the last 25 years with all the pathetic PC laziness and selfishness they lived as their "lifestyle", voted as their representatives, looked the other way at their own lack of morals, dismissed God from our society, and seeked to solve the worlds problems with their own "intellect".

This above rant is a general overview of the Baby Boom generation at large. Deny it all you want...the truth hurts. The sooner you admit...the sooner you repent...the sooner you agree. These actions are the results of a generation gone bad...with worse that has followed.

I lived in "Taxachusetts" back in the late 70's. People who were appalled by the state's liberal policies were starting to flee in large numbers.

If you're a conservative, would you now be living in the profligate Commonwealth of Social Engineering (otherwise known as Massachusetts)? If you were a liberal with any shred of decency would you have hauled your children out of the public school system at the first revelations of "Fistgate"?

In Luke, Christ's response to a man who cannot follow Him because he wants to go home and bury his father is this: "Let the dead bury the dead. . . ." In Massachusetts, those with the inclination, determination, and support to change the agenda in the public school system disappeared long ago.
