We're reaching the end of mopping up Afghanistan. bin Laden may or may not be found in a cave, but for all pratical purposes, the Taliban is history and an interim government is being installed.
The greatest threat to America is Iraq. For eight years, Comrade Clinton allowed Suddam Hussein to work undisturbed on building weapons of mass destruction. At the same time, the former Rapist-in-Cheat allowed our military to deteriorate.
Evidence shows that Iraq has been actively involved in terrorist strikes and plots against our sovereign nation. It is evident that we have no choice but to take out Saddam Hussein.
So, who here has any ideas on how, when, and if we are going to attack Saddam Hussein? In view of the fact that Clinton depleted a significant portion of our military, do we have the power to go after Hussein? How much of our arsenal has been spent on Afghanistan? Will we begin by demanding unrestricted inspections of Iraq? Will we amass our armies around Iraq's borders in preparation for an assault? Will we send in Special Ops to arm the Kurds and let them do the fighting? Will we begin 'round the clock bombing until the Hussein regime collapses?
Will George Bush have the cajones to go it alone if need be?
Why? Is he lonely?
Not always. The Iran rescue mission was a good example of what happens when years of 'letting preparedness go' meets 'wishful thinking disguised as planning'.
