When Bill Clinton ran for a third term as Governor of Arkansas he promised the voters he wouldn't run for President. We all know how good his pledge turned out to be. Trust me on this the reason Hillary Clinton ran for the Senate from NY rather than from AK was to gain the credibility and attention not to mention the $$$ from well heeled donors for a run for the presidency. Hillary didn't plan to get elected just to serve as NY state's junior Rat Senator. She has far bigger ambitions and will let nothing stand in her way til she's President. And she's just getting started...

I hate these people, but all candidates make, and break the same promise.

I think that she can get the nomination. She ran an effective campaign in NY and did better than expected. She has a better campaign team than Bush. I think that the DEM nomination is hers for the taking.

I think that Bush wins in the general election, but it's not so obvious. Half of the REPUB base is female. I think that Bush would win big if he chose Rice or Powell as a running mate.

When Bill Clinton ran for a third term as Governor of Arkansas he promised the voters he wouldn't run for President. We all know how good his pledge turned out to be.

And guess what Clinton did prior to entering the primaries in 1992. He went on a "listening tour" or Arkansas to see if "the people" would release him from his pledge to not run for president.

What did Hillary! call her travels around NY before announcing for the senate? Look for her to go on another "listening tour" to see if "the people of NY" will release her from her promise to serve her full senate term.
