Rats steal from their own huh? The same ones who run around accusing President Bush of having stolen the election in Florida. Seems to me since the Rats live in a glass house they'd want to be careful about throwing stones. And ah the you can see the cracks in the perfect facade of their glass house. When it comes to cheating and fixing elections the Rats are pros. They just can't help do what they do even if it ends up biting their fellow liberals right in the ass. What a sorry crew of low lifes...

Horseshi*. To be embarrassed requires a sense of morality to give one shame. Nothing of the kind in SF.

It would be a GREAT exercise to go thru this article and for every name that appears research that persons political party affiliation. Then re-write the story including that party information - Then post it at DU and ask them if their team from Florida moved to S.F.!

This from the city that brought us Prop F and I---ballot measures that would have had the city take over power from PG&E.

They can't even run an election with less than 25% voter turnout.

This is a major imposition on the voters. I would urge all black voters to strike and not vote in this election unless they were paid twice as much as last election, each time they vote. The illegal Mexican voters don't get an increase, however, but will get an opportunity to vote more frequently in this election. There will be no ballot boxes fould floating in the bay this time, Brown's people will weight them down.

"...and the Coast Guard fished eight ballot box lids out of San Francisco Bay several weeks later.

What is up with this? The Board of Supervisors is screaming, but what about the rest of the city? BTW, they didn't say from what election. Unbelievable.

And another thing...I think I am on a rant, if this could happen in one election, how many others has this happened in? Incredible.

the city was sued for not printing candidates' names on the ballots in Chinese.

Someday we'll have the ballots printed up in 200 languages.

It's almost fun to see San Francisco's political system fall like a pack of cards, and the Big One hasn't even hit the place yet.

When do they get around to blaming this on Republicans?

San Francisco embarrassed? That's two words I never thought I'd encounter in the same sentence.
