What would really drive the feminists crazy is, that it is (and always has been) correct for a lady to use "Mrs." with her husband's name socially, but retain "Ms." with her maiden name, if she obtained her professional reputation under that name. This is meant to protect a lady's ability to continue making a living even while she is married, and protects her even more in the sad event that her marriage ends.

It might surprise the recipients of social invitations from an old high school friend, "Ms. Millie Smallville" to learn that she also carries a set of stationery under the name, "Mrs. Herbert Gotbucks."
