Without making this a seperate post of its own related to this subject, you made a really good point. Its kind of sad to say how many people who post at Indymedia actually seem to feel that way. But its true. To be fair, I think the original concept of Indymedia was decent. When it began it was alot like the leftist version of FR. A place to post and discuss topics, albeit from a leftist point of view.

However over the past year or so they have become increasingly dominated by the Stalinist crowd, and actually most of the articles at this point are worth more for the fun of picking out the inconsistencies in the arguments, than actual fact.

Indymedia as it stands has basically ditched their original core constituents and to a large degree is now populated with the same kind of statists that no doubt make up organizations like the WWP. Indymedia is teetering on the verge of becoming a joke, even in the opinions of alot of leftists that used to praise it.
