The apparent purpose of any Presidential Library is to gather and make available to the public, and to scholars, all the information about that Presidency. Especially important for the long view is the preservation and opening up -- eventually -- of even the "private" and "secure" materials.

Of course there is a conflict between an ex-President's desire to look good in the eyes of the people and in the history books, and the idea of making all materials available, no matter what. However, with Clinton this built-in conflict will be at its maximum. From beginning to end he has lied to advance his politics and to protect his personal peccadillos. We can expect that his Library will continue the pattern of lying.

What will serve as the Anti-Clinton Library, the place where people who are lied to at the official place can go to get the truth? This is a problem that has not cropped up before, not even with the Nixon Library. How do we deal with the fact that this Library is about a sociopath, and through his sychophants, it will be a sociopathic institution forever (remember that it is endowed).?

Gee, I wonder if it's just one big co-inkydink that the liebrary is set to open in 2004??

Do you suppose this is where Hilliary proves herself a liar again by announcing her candidacy for prez in '04?

"I was offered even more to take it to New York."

He was? Who offered him more than 30 million to take his library to New York? Enquiring minds want to know!

"What I did was a matter of record, but what I want is the whole record out."

Have you been contacted re the Alamo-Girl wing of the Clinton 'lie-bury'?
Such an addition would be worth my consideration of support.

Clinton says he wants 'whole record out'

If the whole record ever came out, they'd put Clinton in jail and throw away the key.

"I'm comfortable with the current law and I intend to follow it," Clinton said. "I'm not criticizing. ... I'm just saying what I think the law ought to be, and people can do what they want."

It's not slick's 'intentions' that were/are a problem. It is his lies and actions that cause one to DOUBT the sincerity of his 'intentions', IMHO.

To me, the most grieveous thing about the clintons' rise to power was how the establishment press ( and the entertainment media, too ) shilled, spin, promoted, & propagandized for them, despite knowing what rotters they were. I mean, clinton was known as the "dirty joke of a governor" back in Arkansas- but they studiously avoided mentioning that to us peons until it was too late.

I firmly believe that without the rise of talk radio & the 'net, we would be in (i)X-42's third-term "workers' paradise," ala Cuba....

This abominable self serving power crazed felon wants the whole record out, knowing it will never be, like he wants a life of celibacy. Neither he or his copresident ever opens thier mouths that lies, spin, deciet, treason, obstruction of justice and perjurious statements are not emitted, poisoning the air we breath. If only they would speak once more and implode for good.

"What I did was a matter of record, but what I want is the whole record out."

Oh goody, goody!!! I guess that means they will definitely have to create a high tech interactive

"Gallery of Rape Victims" display.

And of course, they can't leave out a life-size model (as attested to by Paula Jones, Gennifer Flowers & others) of---AHEM,--"Willard"---anatomically correct, of course!!!! (BENT AND SHRIVELLED.....ROTFLOL!!)
