1. They're not staring slack jawed and hunch backed over a video game.
2. They're not running the roads becoming hoodrats in training.
3. They are able to visualize a story using their own minds, painting their own pictures.
Heaven forbid our kids have minds of their own =)

uh... is it better to read Goosebumps or play video games?

There is nothing intrinsically good or evil about reading or playing video games. The merits of a book or game are determined by its content.

Do you really think that the things that are in Harry Potter are a good thing for kids to visualize, and have images of those things in their heads?
