The huskers can kiss it good-bye.

Great team, and an overall great bunch of guys, but there's no national chapionship game for them this year.

So the Rose Bowl in California is going to have Miami v. Florida? This is ridiculous. Pac-10 and Big-10(11) should cut a deal--tell them to go home to Florida, stage a Oregon-Illinois Rose Bowl.

Amazing how a team such as TU can play only 1 ranked team this year, lose with scoring only 3 points,
and get ranked so high.

With Nebraska's loss, that leaves only Miami (always a powerhouse) and BYU (usually a doormat) as the only undefeated teams.

What in the sam hell does BYU have to do to rank in the top 10? Just because a college is not normally a football powerhouse, does that mean they shouldn't rank?

Or, is it just that a team who's only pro standouts are quarterbacks (Steve Young, Robbie Boscoe, Ty Detmer) doesn't deserve any respect?

Posted like a Sore/Loserman, face it, no state in the Blue Zone is going to deserve a National Football championship. Florida is (barely) in the Red Zone, the championship will go to a team from Florida. QED.

Possible, but I don't think realistic. We'll see.

I think Miami beat West Virginia, Colorado Beats Oklahoma (those boys are riding high right now), and Florida beats Tennessee.

We'll see :-)

Hey, I'm a traditionalist. I liked the old system of bowls. If one cares about who's "#1", fight it out between the ol' reporters' and coaches' polls.

It's a conspiracy of advertisers-sports radio/tv loudmouths-and certain"red zone" monomaniacal coaches that keep the BCS/playoff arguments going. And going. And going.
