Just now on ABC newscast Peter (alias - Dick) Jennings had the temerity to actually go to Big D - Dallas, Texas and get a 'man-on-the-street' opinion of what Dallasites think of the world in general.

Dubya got the expected high marks all around and then Jennings asked one man what Dallas residents think of things and the man replies:

"Well, nobody like YOU!"

Right in Jennings weasily little face!!

Jennings spun it to mean that folks were mad at media in general, but I guarantee you this guy meant Peter Jennings personally!

Man, what a treat.

I guess ABC wont be planning any more visits to Dalllas anytime soon. BEEEEEAAUUUUTIFFFULLLLL!!

I saw it! Sweet! Plus last night Jennings hosted a media town hall answering question from the media and citizens. They acutally played the clip of 9-11 asking "where is our president?" Also called him on the "some president's do it well and some don't." Told him it was an obvious shot at Bush. I only watched about 15 minutes of the hour but that part was priceless.

I don't get it.

Well, Jennings and his counterparts work in New York City which they believe to be the center of the universe. They believe they are loved and respected everywhere.

He learned something today in a place far far away from his ivory tower.

A few thousand more days like that and he might reach the intelligence of the average American. ;-)

It was live (by the way it was "well, nobody likes you") and it was great.

Jennings spoke to the man and he stopped for a second, as if thinking deeply and then he turned and looked Jennings in the eye and spoke clearly and directly. I honestly couldn't believe what I was seeeing. It was too beautiful for words.
