Ah, but there is the rub. Which "moral fabric" to enforce? I smoke pot, I work hard, I haven't missed a day of work all year, I pay my taxes, and I vote primarily Republican. How am I damaging this "moral fabric"? You want me to go to prison for this?

Smoking pot is illegal so at best you are a law breaker. But what is worse is the fact that you SUPPORT drug dealers who I am certain DONT VOTE REPUBLICAN primarily, whatever that means, and are probably selling other narcotics or at least engaged in criminal activity that is much more destructive to society.
