Abortion is murder, so the law is to protect the unborn child.
Drug Use, Pornography and Homosexuality destroy society.
No one has the right to destroy the moral fabric of society, and that is what those things do.

drug use, homosexuality and pornogra[phy destroy society? explain to me how two men having sex behind closed doors destroys society? explain to me how someone shooting up heroin behind closed doors destroys society? - (lets not even get to the issue of what causes more detahs every year, uillegal drugs or the legal ones alcohol and tobacco) I think you need to spend a little more time thinking about your own life and choices and a little less time trying to solve the world's ills with your morals and someone else's tax dollars

Tobacco and alcohol are by far and away the biggest killers and the most disruptive of society. Let's ban 'em, ehy?

I smoke pot, I work hard, I haven't missed a day of work all year, I pay my taxes, and I vote primarily Republican. How am I damaging this "moral fabric"? You want me to go to prison for this?

Preach in your church. This is a POLITICAL forum. None of the above "destroy" society. I have more of a personal problem with people such as you who tend to be JUDGMENTAL. Again, Take your message to the churches

Yep, and illegal drug sales are a primary financier of worldwide terrorism, much more so than oil and arms.
