,,killed quite a few totally innocent people in no-knock SWAT team raids at the wrong address -- people who were not breaking the law and who were sleeping peacefully in their beds. Perhaps a few times but I would not say "quite a few." Life is NOT perfect and without being in the circumstance it's difficult to pass judgment. No society is PERFECT, so our law enforcement falls short occasionally. Do you know of a better system we could model after? Don't take me wrong, for we're basically on the same side "politically" speaking.

Yes, I would propose that we re-institute properly executed search warrants with the standard "knock and announce" that our courts, including the Supreme Court,
used to require, prior to the jackbooted invading a private home that may
or may not be the site of criminal activity.

I hope you don't think this type of activity by the jackbooted thugs is acceptable in what is supposed to be a free society with Constitutional protections for its citizens, who are supposed to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
