On the early morning news today, either Fox or CNN, correspondents in Afghanistan reported that some Afghani Taliban have managed to escape out of Kunduz. These Afghani Taliban have brought back reports that the foreign (Arab, Pakistani and Chechen) Al Qaeda fanatics have executed over 400 Afghani Taliban just for voicing their desires to surrender.
These "foreign" (not Afghani) Al Qaeda fanatics are a well financed travelling circus of terror. U.S. intelligence has linked Al Qaeda travelling jihadists to the bombing of the USS Cole, to the bombing of the U.S. Embassies in Africa, to the radical Islamic terrorists in the Phillipines who recently beheaded an American citizen, to the radicalization of Muslims in Bosnia and in Kosovo and, of course, to the September 11 Massacre and to plans for future attacks on American military and civilian targets.
Giving U.N. safe passage to 3,000 such fanatics and letting them loose on the world is like setting loose 3,000 Charlie Mansons (armed with airliners pointed at the tallest skyscraper in a metropolitan area near you).
And you, Cavalry, have not yet explained to this Forum why you think these 3,000 fanatics, who have vowed to kill Americans, military or civilian, wherever in the world they find them, should be spared by a U.N. sponsered safe passage out of Kunduz.
