Rumsfled stated the equivalent of: "This is the last time I'm telling you the truth." The equivalent? Why can't this writer tell us what Rumsfeld really said, instead of interpreting it? After all, it either is or is not what he said. If it's not what he said, don't use quotation marks. Shoddy reporting.

After all, it either is or is not what he said.It is not what he said. I remember that press conference, and while I don't recall his exact words well enough to quote them here, they were definitely not anything at all like "this is the last time I'm telling you the truth", in either form or content.

Such a "quote" is so egregious that it should be grounds for dismissal from a high shcool newspaper staff.
