I suspect the old conservatives may think dues paid with abortion fees may be hard to take. The leftist elites do not mind stashing money like that at all. One buck is like another to them. I am surprised the Catholic Church accepts his donations if he does attend church. There is no understanding the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Kennedy Catholics. I grew up there and marvel at their ability to separate Kennedy votes from the church beliefs. I have a cousin that supports the Democratic Party completely while reading for the mass each week.
