Thanks, a real confidence booster. Heroism and liberation--it doesn't get any better.

Great post!
The more I see of these people the more I respect and admire them. I wonder if they have any idea that we rejoice in their freedom?

""While it looked like a rag-tag procession, the morale into Mazar-e Sharif was a triumphal procession. All locals loudly greeted us and thanked all Americans. Much waving, cheering and clapping even from the women. ... USN/USAF did a great job. " Hmmm. Doesn't quite fit with the tripe that the media has been trying to feed us. Especially the U.K. rags.
I've always said that Wolfowitz is a stand up guy. God bless our troops.

Outstanding. Thanks for the post.
More of this type information should be released by the Government, it harms no one and it helps people appreciate the bravery of those who serve us. God Bless and Protect them. We have never been served by better.

When in USAF basic training in 1979, my flight (platoon) was shown a film about (then) USAF Pararescue (now USAF SpecOps). My goals were different, but I was really thinking of volunteering. If I knew then what I know today, I would have joined. Would LOVE to be in this fight.

Great post!! My son recently joined the Navy and it is good to see the caliber of men he will hopefully be aligning himself with.

Horseback cavalry charge in the 21st century? Losing only eight to 125 tali-tubbies KIA in the process? Riding horses at full throttle against mortar and automatic fire? Mein Gott! These boys have more guts than you could string across a barb wire fence. Of course they were trained in better tactics by the best. Praise God and the US Special Forces!
