God set commandments to protect and guide His people. The Bible commands to not set wicked things before one's eyes, to not make graven images and the foundation of the command in principle applies to print and video media, TV and movies. There is blessing for obedience and entrapment for those who disobey. There is a spiritual transference that happens in yielding to sin. The sinner yields and is given the impression of freedom by the demon he received by yielding. One is literally servant to what he yield himself to, although demons and the accuser says that the one yielding to sin is "in control" and "can handle it" when the Bible says he is not. Even Bob Dylan said, "You have to serve somebody." and surely understood at that time this principle:
Ro 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
The whole issue of symbols and images are dealt with in the Bible for those who choose to hear, know and follow (John 10:24-29) and intentionally hid from those who choose to yield their members of sin. The war in society is a spiritual war and will not be won by writing letters to congressmen who sit in under the statue of Persephone. The spirit of goddess worship which has been over the land from its very beginnings has perverted almost the whole society and like yeast has leavened to whole loaf.
