Actually, I think it's just a REALLY OLD one! My mother used to say that when she was a teenager. I thought I would get flamed for being unoriginal. I'm glad there's others like me who haven't heard it before.

I'm not having log on problems, but when I get here, for some reason the "latest posts" refuse to refresh. I have to shut the browser and start a new one to get new posts! Anyone know why? It doesn't seem to be a cookie problem...

In respose to post 19.... HEY my Granddad was an OLD TIME logger in the early teens and through the 2os onto the Great Depression.... Some of HIS old logging stories would DEFINITELY raise the hair on the back of your NECK!!! ROFL to say there were NO SAFETY STANDARDS would be to PUT IT MILDLY!!!!

He said one time in the late 30s the old Schafer(sp???) Family logging Co. around Grays Harbor was so NOTORIOUS in its logging practice that it killed something like6 MEN in one DAY cutting timber.... Needless to say when the State DNR HEARD OF THAT they closed down the Company REAL fast to see what the hell was going down....and for a LONG time afterwards the ONLY time when a logger wanted to work at Schaffer(sp???) were when they were REALLY desperate for a job was what graddad said about THAT compamy...
