You know, I could use a few months in a padded room . . .

Well, okay, but I'm thinkin' you'll get more play off the 14th Street...

I voted earley 7:30 am and my wife was on her way at 10:00 am.

The Republican party was really pushing the school bond referendum in Fairfax County. Not too pleased about that - it's just pouring more money down a rathole.

Where is the election thread today?

For Virginia, this is it. There's a separate thread for NJ.

Ah, snowflakes...very effective in Northern Virginia. Honestly, I am surprised the terrorists haven't focused their evil energy in that direction. Can you imagine the horror if it snowed for, oh, I don't know, an INCH?! :)

IIRC, the guy who did tie up the Wilson Bridge about 18 months ago backed up traffic so badly that he go the GW Parkway, Route 1. and the 14th Street Bridges as freebies. Time to get a couple of "Win with Warner" signs and head for the bridge . . . VBG.

I meant where the 395 ramp</> passes over 495. I am aware that 395 ends at 495. I need more coffee.

Hey KQQL; Just voted in Red Reston,
Voter turnout, for noon was very light. Only one other person in front of me
for the A-G line. Hope this is a good sign.
Vote Earley......

I live in Albemarle County , next door to the PRC (Charlottesville) and I just voted. It was lunch time and I was the only person voting. I think I may have chosen the next governor since no one else was out there.

That's nice. However, these people won't actually be reforming anything anytime soon. If it makes you feel better though, go right ahead.

FReepMail me where I can find him and I'll tie his Lib'ral butt up 'til 7 PM

It's OK. He's not voting at all. He doesn't "believe in it". He's an OK guy, otherwise. We're working on him. I thought his sister-in-law (his brother's wife) was going to rip him apart after the Inauguration. She even mentioned that his parents had voted for Bush. That set him back on his heels, because either they generally vote Dem or they don't vote at all. LOL.

What are the rules in VA for registration? How? When? I want to get this guy to the Polls by 2004, if I have to drag him myself, kicking and screaming.

The two party system doesn't work.

Mark Warner thanks you for your vote. If warner wins and thats a big if, enjoy higher taxes, handgun control operating out of warner's office, and 4 years of liberal gobbldygook.

Someday you will notice that our system is ideally set up for a two party system and that you will not find perfection on Earth.

Oh BTW, the three party system of 92 gave us 8 years of Clinton.

"I'm heading down to the East End of Richmond to play my guitar, sing anti-Lib'ral songs, and scare off as many Lib'ral voters as I can!!"

Ohmydeargawd no, Mudboy; not that!! :o)

Good luck my friend; if your weather's even *half* as good as it is here on the Ohio River in the midwest?
You'll have fun, get sun, and your guitar will stay in-tune.

I don't think he was praying or hoping for it. Just making the point that procrastinators may be the Democrats undoing.
