I see that Whittier is a suburb of LA. Do you feel he truly has a chance of winning? Given the demographics of the area. Is this a traditionally Democrapic stronghold?

The district includes areas of Whittier (and part of the district I ran in last year), as well as part of Lakewood and Cerritos and across the county line, all of Buena Park. They might trend Democrat on paper, but these people are anything but liberal. Plus, the incumbent is termed-out.

The is NOT a throw away district. If anything, Mr. Brulte and Mr. Cox up in Sacramento, who sold us all out by giving us these horrendous districts, ought to pay attention and see how campaigns are run by real patriots.

" . . . a suburb of LA . . . does he really have a chance?"

We have an excellent window of opportunity here. With the redistricting and current Assembly members being term-limited out, the district is wide open for the taking if we run a serious campaign.

And, if you'll ask anyone who knows me, I don't run to lose. I am running to win, and win big!

Best regards,
-- John W. Brantuk, Sr.
Candidate for Assembly, 56th District

The things I know of Whittier is that there are many conservatives there. Its basically a bedroom community about 25 miles south east of LA and homes in the area range from middle income to multi-million dollar view homes in the Whittier hills.

From what I know of Whittier, it remains one of the nicer areas in the Southern California area.

I wish Mr. John W. Brantuk, Sr good luck.
