All great comedy has some truth in it. Your post reminded me of an Arsenio Hall bit after the Iranian Hostage crisis. Arsenio said: "I don't know about these guys. First they said "We don't care about death, we're eager to be martyrs." Then as soon as Reagan was elected they said "Let 'em go!"
