First: I don't know if this story is true, but it could be.

These guys are potentially much more dangerous to us than our airborne rangers are to them:

/1/ Our rangers don't parachute into places full of children (for examole) to slaughter.

/2/ Our rangers don't go in on one way suicide missions, which limits the places they may be dropped in.

Out of 100 parachute students, they may get 20 competent freefallers. 20 suicide commando freefallers could pull off an "impossible mission" such as the sabotage of a nuke plant, or the takeover of an SSBN or at the dock, or an LNG tanker at sea.

What could possibly be the motive for an individual to pay for sky diving training for 100 people? Did these individuals just tell him they wanted a hobby and he coughed up the money? Get real, folks!

20 experienced freefallers could train another 100 experienced freefall jumpers. The knowledge can not be kept in the USA and in the final analysis this is knowledge we are talking about. The only real response is an armed citizenry. Twenty jumpers can not take over an SSB(N) with a fully armed and trained crew aboard. Nor can five or six suicide commandoes take over a school full of children with a fully armed faculty and staff. If one does not trust teachers with firearms how can one entruct one's children to them?

In country one slept with a sidearm because of the possibility of sappers inside the wire. Unfortunately, we know we have the enemy inside the wire here in the USA so we as a nation had best start realizing it.

Stay well - Stay safe - Stay armed - Yorktown
