But these college kids aren't identified as terrorists. They are undoubtedly here legally. Maybe that should be changed.
But they weren't learning terrorist techniques. They were skydiving. The company that arranged it wasn't properly licensed to do that much business here, and the owner split once 9/11 happened.
But this story is only a story because it involves arabs doing something "scary" in violation of a law. The students wouldn't have known about that. How could they?
Any one of them could have signed up individually for what they did and never have been in violation of anything.
I'm all for investigating the heck out of this thing and if any leads turn up, then great. But there is nothing here to indicate that anything threatening was happening. At least I don't see it.
