#1)- The Air-Defense systems in place don't allow ANY aircraft to fly there without ID now, even if it's only VFR, and none get through un-noticed, due to the drug-related procedures.
#2)- Diddleys stock is already tanking - their attendance is off over 50%! Anyone trying to sell them short would be refused, and probably arrested.
#3)-"...Involving tanker truck or hazmat, Involving spent plutonium..." Too many old people in the left lane on I-4, going 45 mph, with the seat belts hanging outside, making sparks! It's impossible to co-ordinate, and Akmed, the former camel-driver would commit suicide by himself!
Seriously, with all the Naval Bases we've got there, nothin' gets through. When I had my first emergency-landing, in Lakeland, FLA, in 1982, (Alternator-failure + dead battery = no com) I attracted an F-4 as an escort until I landed.

fwiw, I am convinced that Bin Ladin will continue to attack nyc--again and again and again.
He has hordes of supporters in northern new jersey, the densest population area in the country in manhattan, the most tall buildings in manhattan, the most bridges and tunnels of any metropolitan area, the home of most major media, the center of the world economy, the home of the UN, etc. etc.
The only offsetting factors that I can see are the fact that most Americans don't think nyc is really a part of the country and that security in nyc is very tight right now.
But my gut tells me he will continue to go after his primary target--nyc. What is also clear is that after an incredibly devastating attack no serious move has been made to remove his sympathizers from the metro nyc area. He can only conclude that new yorkers are incredibly stupid and easy victims.
