Fox Reporting On Lack Of ABC Reporting
Fox Evening News

Fox reported last evening that there was not one single mention of the massacre of Christians in Pakistan on ABC World News Tonight. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and I searched all this morning and couldn't find any web reference. Did anyone else hear this.
I don't watch that scum Jennings or the senile Rather or ole' marble mouth Brokaw so I don't know if it's true or not.

I heard it on Special Report With Brit Hume. It was part of his Grapevine segment at the half-hour.

I don't know about ABC, but I don't doubt that they have completely avoided mention of the attack. However, here's an item from yesterday's MRC Cyberalert about how Dan Rather reported it.
The U.S. is to blame for the killing of 16 Protestant worshipers in Pakistan? That seemed to be the implication of what Dan Rather said on Monday night: "Religious tensions are running higher after the U.S.-led terror war in Afghanistan touched off such events as a funeral today for Pakistani Christians gunned down during church services yesterday." Rather's brief item in full from the October 29 CBS Evening News: "In Pakistan, religious tensions are running higher after the U.S.-led terror war in Afghanistan touched off such events as a funeral today for Pakistani Christians gunned down during church services yesterday. Three masked gunmen fired on the Protestant congregation, meeting in a Catholic church, with automatic weapons, killing at least 16 people. No one has claimed direct responsibility."
I'm confused. So "religious tensions are running higher" because of a funeral for the victims of a terrorist attack, not because of the attack itself? And the attack was fueled not by hatred of Christians and/or Westerners, but by a reaction to the war?

Since when have journalists been objective about anything? The Media stopped striving for objectivity back in the early 1970's!

Of course.

I don't see a blame America motive here. The fact that it is a response to our attacks is clear. Pakistan is full of people who are on the other side in this war.

In regards to post 6 I REFUSE to watch that IDIOT BLATHER!!!

There are no journalists at ABC news. When it comes to personal integrity, there is NO DIFFERENCE between ABC "journalists" and Osama bin Laden. They are soul-mates.

"I don't see a blame America motive here. The fact that it is a response to our attacks is clear. Pakistan is full of people who are on the other side in this war." Did you miss the point intentionally? Blather called the action in Afghanistan a "US led terror-war," essentially justifying the church attack while condemning the US action. Language has meaning. Words have consequences. Rather's use language was more akin to that of an OBL sympathizer than an American journalist.

Bump for the Grapevine (or Footnotes as they call it these days). That, the Fox All Stars segment, and whatever little thing (usually something funny) they show at the very end of the broadcast are my favorite parts of the show.
To: Harrison Bergeron
And don't forget that Pakistani talking head he/she speculating that the attacks on the Christians were a direct result of the US bombing campaign. They kept playing her over and over. I was jumping up and down on the living room floor screaming "that's a stinking lie."
My wife made me calm down. Ugggggggggg!
