Looks like SecDef Rumsfeld is not through with those leakers in the Pentagon! When the time is right expect some folks to pay big time for their leaking to the moron press corps who report/print the leaks when they should know better!

Posted this to let people know that SecDef Rumsfeld is not finished with the leakers even though some folks keep saying he is letting them skate. I wouldn't want him mad at me!

Do you believe he will ever know with certainty who they are? Can you ever recall a situation where people were canned for leaking?

I can't.

I agree he is angry but the best he can do is send stern memos. He can't be everywhere at once.

Rumsfield is a great guy and a leader that instills confidence and seriousness.

Somehow I just could never picture him fretting the menu for a tribute to Hollywood fete, as his ridiculous effete predecessor did.

Rumsfield is a serious man.

He has said he is too busy right now to track down who did it but he made it clear that whoever leaked the information had committed a criminal act.

He is not the person to let things go.I suspect the person or persons who committed this act of treason are cr*pping thier pants right now.

Reminds me of the time I was talking in church in the 7th grade. The Nun looked at me and said very sternly,"You're going to get it later on and your parents will hear about this".Not sure if I was more afraid of the Nun or of my Dad finding out.Needless to say,the point was made.

I just LOVE Rumsfeld. I try never to miss his press conferences. The way he answers idiotic questions posed to him by some members of the press is just hysterical.

.....He became secretary of defense again for George W. Bush as a compromise candidate. .....

If Sec. Rumsfeld is the "compromise candidate" he's talking about then I'm glad he got the job.

Good post. FWIW, Henry Kissinger once described Rumsfeld as "The most ruthless man I have ever known."

I really like Rumsfeld and I hope those that leaked get what they deserve. I wake up to NPR radio because I am not a morning person and those supercilious snots are the only thing that can get me moving in the morning. I heard one of the twerps express astonishment that Rumsfeld would want to control what news comes out of the Pentagon and when it comes out! Imagine that! They are total idiots, spoiled by eight years of stroking by the shameless one.

Excellent article! Go, Rumsfeld! The leakers need to be held accountable and I want names when the moment is right. The only way to shut the leaking down is to "out" these traitors as well as the media egos that printed the information. If even one military man or woman loses his or her life due to a Pentagon/media leak, Secretary Rumsfeld will go ballistic and I pray I am watching TV at that moment!

"Well, I'm for Rumsfeld. He is absolutely entitled to his outrage. I hope he continues to explain why he is upset to the American people. They need to know that there are people in the government and in the media who would sell out America."

IMO, that last line needs to spoken loud and long..!!

BTW, it's Rumsfeld, not Rumsfield. Made the same mistake myself......easy to do.

Nice article, nice post.

Best FRegards,

Uh, I believe the time is right now! Or does he think he should wait until they betray us again and possibly get someone killed?

I am for Rumsfeld too !! I cannot even watch these briefings anymore due to getting to d#@# mad at the reporters and there a$#@#inine questions. I have often thought to myself, one of the major reasons we won in WW11 was because the reporters were informed after the fact of military operations.

As an American citizen I don't care how many lb bombs are being dropped, I dont' care what exact location, I don't care how many miles from here to there, I say let the guys in the military do their job and God Bless them. The only people that want all this info is the reporters, not any people I know.
