How does something 'sound nuclear'?

"How does something 'sound nuclear'? "Note the federal agencies notified on Ashcroft's list....The bulk of non-law enforment agencies were nuclear related....The NRC, Dept. of Energy etc.....
Conspiculously missing was the CDC and other related medical facilities....
I don't know if that is enough to glean a threat but it appears to be a clear direction....

Ashcroft specifically stated that the energy dept.,nuclear and FAA had been advised. They also said that this alert is for the next week----a more concise time frame than last time.

Well, I clearly don't know that for *certain*, but Aschroft did look a fright, and he specifically mentioned that the nuclear regulatory commission and the doe had been notified. Furthermore, he seems to know within a few days when it will happen, implying a punctuated event, not a slow, biological event. Why make such a forboding announcement if the only 'punctuated' event was a car bomb? Clearly, it seems, it must be a magnificent event to compel such a warning. Just my perception of it all...
