One can expect that the typical AP report will begin with a paragraphy which shows the United States in the worst light possible (an attack on the Muslim Sabbath). That will be followed by a paragraph noting the destruction of an animal shelter, a kiddie's home, an old-age sanatorium, a Kuranic school, etc. Next, we have the failure of some Afghan opposition group to do something. Finally, we have the complaint that the US is not doing enough to move the war effort along. AP reporting usually tells half the story; for example, the Taliban has taken charge of the Red Cross material in Afghanistan, and distributions are carried out at their whim and not the disposition of Red Cross administrators. One can almost predict that the AP will continue in the long tradition of egregious reporting that began in Korea and was sharpened to a fine point in Viet Nam.

From the third sentence of the article:
During late night bombing Thursday, three children were killed - two from one family living in the northwest area of the city and a third from the east part of town, officials at the Wazir Akbar Khan Hospital said.

Yeah, the AP is in the sewer, gleefully helping with the enemy's propaganda campaign. How pathetic.
