1. Immediately detain the Imams of radical Muslim mosques and threaten to hang them if anything else happens which can be connected to radical Islam. (The Mexican military did this when we sent doctors to help fight hoof and mouth disease in Mexico in the 1940's. The Catholic priests were stirring the people up and causing them to believe the doctors were harming them by killing their cattle. Some doctors and the teams sent in with them were killed. A Mexican colonel then figured out how to stop the killing. He went to each town, arrested the priest and any other instigators and took them to the town square. He put a rope around their necks and let everyone know that the next doctor killed would see all men arrested hanged the very next morning. The killing stopped.)
2. Deport all individuals who have not been here for MANY years who have connections to Middle Eastern countries associated with radical Islam. Give them 60 days to sell their assets and then transport them back to the country of origin.
Of course, I'm just an insignificant poster on Free Republic so we'll probably see more deaths before the government wakes up.

IMHO, Ashcroft releasing this kind of information and essentially saying to American citizens, too bad, the bad guys are going to get you and there's nothing you can do about it is doing nothing more than scaring more people and causing people to report coffeemate and donut sugar to already overworked authorities.
The only other reason I can see for sending the info this way is to "prepare" us to stomach a real ugly war. Well, no prep needed here. I was ready for it on 9-11.
I agree. But if we do get over this PC BS we start a war with the Libs. I'm all for it; we just ought to be clear about it.
For starters, every person with a VISA and all applicants should undergo a polygraph test with some very basic questions: Have you ever met or associated with Anti-American people? etc. The roundup should begin immediately with instant deportation or arrest.
The foreigners who plot against this country have no fear of death. So a death threat would mean LITTLE to them, since they have their religious beliefs that it's an honor to die for their cause/god.
Maybe, if the people got the word out, that their acts will result in a pig fat dipped bullet, they will have 'cause to pause'..........

In fact, our society may already be dead and we just don't realize it yet. For example, what happens if anthrax is discovered in public housing around the country? I'm sure this is nothing the bad guys haven't already thought through pretty completely.
Arab descent also? What about Afghani descent. Paki descent etc.?
