I have a St. Judes miracle. When I was 7 months pregnant my unborn son was diagnosed with non-immune hydrops. The outcome for survival was a 10% chance. I along with my family were devestated as I began the process of naming my child, turning him over to God and making initial requests from my minister about burial. I tried to remain strong, but to no avail. The doctors preceeded with testing for cause and experimental procedures which were extremely painful. I began seeking help through prayer chains (of my church and family). I also had a catholic friend (I am not) who had related a story of St. Jude to me a year earlier. I asked everyone I knew to get me the prayer ( I was confined to the hospital). Someone brought me the prayer and I began praying it over and over. To make a very long story short my next procedure was not painful. The experimental procedure was a success ( before it was not). The perinentologists were able to perform a blood transfusion on the baby and drain fluid from around his lungs. He was born premature, but healthy. It shocked the doctors that he had no problems. They suspected he would not be able to breath when he was born and would need to be hooked up to a heart and lung machine upon birth. He is considered a miracle by our church and family and I today have a healthy 3 year old! My faith has taken on a whole new meaning. Great to hear your story1

OK, please tell me what it means to pray to St. Jude. I would feel like a hypocrite, since I do not pray much (for others, but not for myself, or in general) but I believe in having faith that good will come and defeat evil...

and boy could I use divine intervention now...

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers...

P.S. 'Bun, I pinged you just becuz you are such a sweetheart!!! and have been so nice to me...
