You mention valid overt actions of Democrats during this time of crisis. I submit even more is going on covertly, and all of it designed to Bash Bush with in 2004.

For example:

Subject: Debbie Willhite
Second in command at the U.S.Post Office, longtime powerful FOB. She's got to be in that job as a reward from Bill Clinton. The first time we saw her on television after the Brentwood postal facility showed positive signs for anthrax, she's sowing seeds of discord, blatantly attacking the CDC, blaming them for postal employees' deaths. It was clearly CYA for her. Her southern accent hasn't changed, but now when she's on television, she's billed as Deborah Willhite. From 93, she worked on Clinton presidential campaigns, she was co-executive director of the Clinton Presidential Inaugural Committee.

Another job she had: "Denver -- Mayor Wellington E. Webb, Congresswoman Diana DeGette, and Denver Summit Executive Director Debbie Willhite today announced that the National Western Events Center will be the location for a major entertainment called "Saturday at the Summit" for the eight world leaders during the Denver Summit of the Eight. The event will be held Saturday evening, June 21, 1997.

She's also close to Terry McAuliffe: from the National Review, 1997: "This year, money people have also been given key inaugural posts. Terry McAuliffe, former DNC fund-raising whiz, is co-chair. The co-executive director is Debbie Willhite, who passed the time between the last inaugural and this one as a lobbyist at Black, Manafort, Stone & Kelly Public Affairs Co., where she described her work to The National Journal as that of a "maitre d' ... I introduce folks to people in the administration they'd like to meet and vice versa."

This woman has an agenda....it's not the post office! If we can't get her fired, at least we can alert ourselves to her motives. What she says now in criticizing the CDC and the federal government, will be fodder used against Bush in 2004. After her CYA appearance all over television news shows blaming the CDC, we had Rahm Emanuel on a talk show the next night, basically seconding her remarks. The blame game Willhite started is accelerating, and I fear it will turn into a "Blame Bush" effort in 2004.

The Democrats will continue to do this because they can get away with it. It won't stop until we start to use it against them.

Thanks to everyone who posted their thoughts and responses here on this thread. In response to post#2 your point is well taken. There's a lot more to all this than I addressed. The only problem is there's only so much bandwidth and not enough time for me to address a lot of these matters. Freeper Uncle Bill has done an excellent job of addressing matters involving XXX42. You might try typing the words "Bill Clinton" into the search engine and take a look at the in-depth articles ha has posted on this subject. We really do need to do something about these judical vacancies and see if we can't prod our leadership to let President Bush fill them. The last thing we need are judges legislating from the bench.
Regards.
