Welcome to the board. You’ll probably find that you’ll have to go through a little “hazing” here. I went through it for about six months. It’s sort of like basic training in the Marines. The survivors come out stronger than they went in.

My dictionary states that "dumbies" is appropriate. It also states that "dummies" is correct. Therefore, what's with the grammar police? Can you tell me?
I find it odd that I post a thread in an effort to gain some good, honest discussion in regards to many important issues, and as soon as it is posted, the grammar police are at my throat. If this isn't childish, I don't know what is.
This is not a vanity. It is a topic posted in the questions/opinions section, which, I might add, is a part of this forum. If you have a problem with that, don't respond. There are a lot of good people who would like to reply, but since the thread has been butchered, what purpose does it serve?
