This stuff is from a Hindu site and most people would therefore consider it biased. However, since the author quotes directly from the Koran (the literal dictations of Allah) and the Hadis, which are the writings of Mohammed, it raises points which must be taken seriously to wit: Mohammed was a friggin pervert.

The Great Prophet married a six-year-old (as one of his many wives) and raped her when she obtained the ripe age of nine years old. This sick, perverted SOB would have been thrown in prison in any civilization that ever existed. Lucky for him he lived among total barbarians and was thus able to found a religion based on barbarism, a religion that is more barbaric today than it was in the middle ages.

The next time someone repeats the NewYorkTimes lie that "Islam is a peaceful religion"...

It makes me gag everytime I hear the same broken record that Islam is a peacful religion. Are there peacful people in Islam? No doubt....but the writings of Mohammed are not.

Where I live I get more BBC than I do US programming and I'll tell you, the BBC had taken on a crusade to persuade their viewers that Islam is the sweetest smelling rose on the planet. But even all their spin-doctoring and biased reporting can't hide the fact that there really aren't all that many hate-free Muslims out there. BBC spends hours on end in search of the "peaceful Muslim" and their "finds" are pretty pisspoor specimens, I'll tell you. So far they have not found a single one willing to blame the terrorists for the attacks. It's all "the fault of US foreign policy". And the vast majority of their examples of peace-loving Muslims say that the WTC was actually blown up by Israelis.

A whole bunch of sites on the web claim that women make up the majority of new converts to islam. Islam is said to be, and apparently is, the fastest growing religion on the planet.

Mohammed was apparently a very shrew marketer. He designed a vision of paradise based on the wants of his audience: plenty of sex, boys, water, shade and fruits. Since a lot of his audience were robbers or highwaymen by trade, he also made it lawful for his adherents to enjoy plunder with a clear conscience. The main selling point of the islamists for women is that you don't have to put on makeup, or vamp or have a facelift. It gives them a harbor, albeit one in which the Bearded Ones call the shots.

Their appeal to the illiterate, unemployed Third World male is more obvious. One islamic site I visisted is hosted by a man in cammies -- in contrast to some ostensibly Christian sites which are run by distinctly effeminate types, so the message is: "here's a gun and I'll make a man out of you." Islam is the ultimate gang-recruiting scheme, complete with secret handshakes and molls.

In contrast, the Western world has gone out of its way to drain Christianity of any substantive meaning. Even piety is now regarded as something vaguely shameful. We have reached the point where Plato, Shakespeare, Newton and Einstein are now regarded as dead white men and Jesus someone to make fun of.

If islam dances on our corpses, it will not be because they have conquered us. We poisoned ourselves.

It's almost as if Islam has really not yet discovered any useful purpose for women on the earth. I guess none of them have ever needed somebody to hold a starter in place, under a pickup truck, while a guy starts the first bolt.

I too am sickened at the femininity (sp?) of some sects of the Christian faith. Especially in light of one of the last statements Jesus gave his disciples in Luke 22:36.

Jesus was preparing his followers for life on earth wihout Him, building up their faith but, also speaking about the violence to come.

"He said to them, 'but now if you have a purse take it and also a bag; and if you do not have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one'".

Paints a more testosterone Jesus. Don't hear that preached too often.

Have you seen Beneath the Veil? CNN showed it several times a few weekends ago. It is excellent, shows a woman getting shot in the head, a secret school for girls, a beauty shop where if caught, the women will be killed. Tragic, but true, filmed about 2 years ago I think!
