Evidently they all take it seriously. I saw a documentary on the Vatican, along the ceiling of the room that holds the pictures of all the Popes there is only one place left for a picture, no more room for another.

Naaaaahh. Romans were pagans. Romans bathed. Therefore pagans bathe (and good Christians don't).

Paging Art Bell...

You can bet that in the Martin Sheen version, the evil antichrist world leader will be a Republican.

It's such obvious lefty garbage, on its face.

Petrus Romanus.... is the next Pope, so if the next Pope is named Peter and he is from Rome Italy or Rome Texas...or related to Jim Rome

it is time to get your house in order.

These are a little vague, and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Or maybe a whole bowl of salt. I'll bet if you took any nine "mottos" from the list and matched them, arbitrarily, with the nine Democratic Dwarves running for president, you could find something in each man's life which would correspond to that motto. All it takes is a little imagination.

Would Tettamanzi be a good "conservative" choice? Haven't heard his name before, but of course, Arinze is the current media favorite, so I have heard most about him. Of course, the Holy Spirit usually chooses someone none of the "experts" would have chosen, like our present Holy Father, God bless him.

I find it totally bizarre that there is only room for one more painting and one more coffin in the Vatican..... how prophetic....

I find it very interesting that, right now, when the **** is hitting the fan, when the forces of evil are rising up to bestride the Earth, and a film about the story of Jesus' last days is being violently suppressed, that they should come up with a story they can twist as an attack on "a leader who will lead to war." No doubt, with Martin Sheen involved, they will twist these doubtfull prophecies to name George Bush as the anit-christ bent on world destruction. I bet you that all of the studios who passed on Mell Gibson's The Passion will be bidding like mad for this Martin Sheen anti-American screed.

There is more at work in the world then most people see or understand. We are afraid that if we voice these fears we will be branded "religious nuts" or "tin foil hat" kooks. Evil is real. Evil is at work. Our fight is against evil. Never doubt it.

This is just another example of the Barnum Effect. If you say something broad or vague enough, people will see a connection to themselves or someone else. This is a bunch of bogus hooey.
If you are a Christian believer, Jesus says of the end of times no one knows when it will happen, not even Him, only the Father. That the Christ will return as a "thief in the night" when no one expects it. So, essentially, anybody who claims to know when the world will end, from a Christian perspective, is trying to say that he knows better than Christ. That is a pretty amazing statement for a 'Christian' to make.
People continually claim that this that or the other fulfills prophecy.

I agree with you but can you please confirm that the bold part doesn't contradict what I wrote :
No doubt this prediction is a strong sign of God. Or with other words : it's wrong to make people believe that they should not take their time to reflect on this - and I mean the whole story, including the fact that this is in Drudge.
