Nice to see more of this. It's happening in Michigan as well.

SOUTHAVEN, Miss.
Not just the ladies of The New South.
I saw a TV report about the full classes for ladies fire-arm training at
Front Sight over in Nevada.
I guess some sensible ladies decided they should be pro-active in case civil
insurrection breaks out...or for that nice, mellow Islamic terrorist who might
inhabit the next apartment over...

How ironic the notion of women defending themselves by using a firearm, should become
trendy given the PC nightmare of the past 8 years.
I was in Indianapolis past few days, & all the hotel offered in the way of cable news, was CNN.
The Leftist sleeze extruder continually ran a "news" ribbon at the screen's bottom saying gun sales in Texas are up 100%, & CC lic applications were going ballistic.
Given who it was running those ribbons I wondered, "What's CNN's angle here reporting those stats; just what are those Leftist ticks up to, anyway..."

This is the best thing I've read today. Hats off to the Chief for taking the commonsense approach to self-defence and not parroting the usual anti-gun drivel.

Thanks for the ping. That old Southern saying surfaces once again, and it's so true:
Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

And even though knowing how to use a gun is a good defense, Long said there's a better one. "The first thing, the best thing, is don't put yourself in a situation where you need a gun," Long said.
Well, at least this was not the new changes and the "all" feature. LOL
I loved his comment you quoted, but I think he blew it with the one above. One of the major reasons to carry is protect oneself from situations one has no control over.

"The first thing, the best thing, is don't put yourself in a situation where you need a gun," Long said. Thanks for the ping. Unfortunately in todays society you need a gun just to go to the store to buy a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk.
