He says he will act accordingly if a SPECIFIC threat is received. Talking about the crop-dusting threat.

Hey, my sister has plans to fly tomorrow, she's going on vacation. I don't know, I'm really paranoid about it - would you guys get on a plane this weekend, after this "FBI threat?"

I would. Even if you include the number of people killed on 9/11, flying is still safer than driving. In fact, I expect it is even safer now given passengers are more than willing to crush an uprising. So the only way I would worry if I were your sister is if she is or is married to a big bury Arab.

I love GW, I really do, and I'm behind him 100%, but he sure isn't gifted in extemporaneous speechmaking. Moses wasn't either, I guess. I bet there were people following Moses around ready to jump at the slightest stutter. I always cringe when his tongue gets tied around itself because I just know that half of the nation thinks that means he's not bright enough to be President, just as much of Israel murmered against Moses.

I'm flying a week from tonight. No matter what day...what week...what year this is something we are going to have to live with I think. The potential is always there for some terrorist or some sicko who thinks being a copy-cat is funny. Does it make me more nervous to fly now than before 9-11? Yes. But I will go, I will be alert and aware, and I will try not to leave finger-nail imprints imbedded in the armrests.

A plane will probably be the safest place in the country this weekend. I doubt they'll try that same trick for some time to come.

I may be going to Chicago to have surgery on my C5-C6 vertebral disk. It's Chicago, it's by air, it's major surgery, and I'll be alone without my family. I know exactly how you and your sister feel. But nobody is highjacking a plane I'm on, period. Cab driver who took me to pick up my repaired car today said the same. "Nobody is highjacking any plane I'm on."

Sorry to seem as if I'm trying to put a damper on things, folks...but does anyone else notice something wrong with our president's demeanor? I'm not trying to be mean or paranoid but I just don't see that same resolve and anger. I see something that looks to me like worry. Is it just me?
