While I liked Reagan, if he had done what Bush has the guts to be doing now, maybe this wouldn't be necessary.

In all fairness to President Reagan, the Islamic threat wasn't as well defined then as it is now. He had more reason to be worried about the USSR than what were then assorted disorganized terrorist groups.

I agree. I just want to give the credit to a man who has surprised me for months by the extent of his decency, grace and intelligence.

I voted for him, but not with the certainty I voted for Reagan. Any hesitancy has been blown away by his valor. When he invoked "for the children" three weeks ago, the tears in his eyes were real.
