The cross was moved to its present location Wednesday.

Apparently of steel beams was found by a laborer amid the World Trade Center debris two days after the twin tower collapsed. The fire fighter have been very inspiried by this.

Reminds me of some five years ago, my best friends house burned, and everything was charred except a few changes of clothing, and her Bible which was the only book that made it, it was black around the edges but perfectly fine. Everytime she'd get down, she'd think of that Bible and what God was trying to tell her. Everything did work out for the best in the long run.

And for the scoffers who say, why did God burn her house down, he didn't. Her mother-in-law forgot to turn the stove off when she left the house with the granddaughters. My best friend wasn't there, but her sister was there sleeping. Her sister was woken up by my best friend's husband's safe burning and the bullets in the safe popping loudly, so she ran out just in time. God didn't come down to turn the stove off, because he's not Barbara Eden in I-Dream-of-Jeannie. He is a matchmaker and he encouraged her to marry an NRA member who kept a supply of bullets in the house, so there!

I agree with you. I believe they are going to need INTENSIVE help afterwards. And I better not hear anybody complaining about that.

I doubt it. These rescuers are all men at this point. Its usually only the women that run off to therapy for everything. They should all be O.K.

I'm wary of this stuff as well. The erecting , illuminating and blessing of a support beam strikes me as being right up there with placing crowns of flowers on statue's heads, blessing throats with candle sticks, incessant candle lighting, and paintings of saints bleeding out the eyeballs. Jesus commanded us to be wary and suspicious of stuff like this.

No, God doesn't talk to me. If someone tells me that God speaks to them I usually just nod and quickly leave their presence. Those folks strike me as quite unbalanced.

No the Greek Church was destroyed. The Chapel is St. Paul's Episcopal Chapel where George Washington used to worship. It was covered in ash and debris but was unharmed miraculously.

What a shame. During a trip to NY in June of this year, I stayed at the Financial Centre Marriott one building away from the WTC and remember stopping to stare at the little old Greek church in the middle of lower Manhattan...

I also went into St. Paul's -- beautiful church. I'm glad at least it was saved.

They are going to need our prayers. and their families also. It must be incredibly frustrating to go there every day and know that all those people are dead and there's nothing you can do about it.
