LD partner, you know damn well that support for these zealots in the Muslim world is exponentially greater than support for Christian Identity types in the hardcore right wing(myself included).

Worse, the CIA staff was to become a model of P.C. ideology.
I saw some of this crap...and it was definitely before the Clinton Administration. The biggest misperception about the agency is that it is full of right wing zealots. In fact, it is chock full of left-wing globalist types. A real rathole that should be shut down.

There are a billion Moslems in the world. 19 of them is just about as statistically relevant to their ethnic group as a percentage as the 2 or 3 involved in the Oklahoma City bombing. What about those who provided logistical and financial support to the 19? What about those Muslim governments which provide facilities for their training? And what about those who rejoiced over the murder of my countrymen?
Yes, there are a billion Muslims in the world. What do they want? Ever read the Koran to see what they think about Jews and, to a lesser extent, Christians? Ever notice how non-Muslims are treated in a Muslim dominated society? Ever notice how when Muslims are even a significant minority, the relationship with the majority faith in a country is not smooth (e.g., India)? IF, as some claim, Islam is a religion of peace, is time for those who claim that to put their money where their mouths are and help us exterminate those who would destroy our way of life and use Islam as the excuse.

Israel needs to civilized. Since they can't do it themselves, we must do it also. After all, they are really just another Arab country culturally. I see. You wouldn't be French by any chance, would you?

Israel. I see you believe in the traditional "blame the Jews" approach. Well, it has worked in the past. I guess when something works for you, you stick with it, right?

Quote of the Day on "Too Good Reports":
Why have they [FBI and CIA] been spending their resources chasing after a few people who were no harm to society, such as one loner on a mountaintop at Ruby Ridge and a pathetic religious group in Waco, while the plotting foreign terrorists crossed our borders and lived in our country illegally, got their flight training in Florida, and freely boarded our planes under their own names? Well, it wouldn't surprise me given the "logic" of his/her argument. But it really doesn't matter. We will have to deal with these "brave souls" who hide behind their keyboards and point their fingers at the Jews over and over again.

LOL. Not all the crazies are astonished (currently Samaritan). There are plenty of unastonished crazies.

Support for the Taliban amongst Afghan tribes is another matter and I believe local sovereignty trumps religious ideology in that particular case. With regards to Islam as a whole, I feel that support for the Islamists is quite widespread even transcending ancient schisms such as Shia vs Sunni and what not.
I don't think for a second that the EXTREME right wing in this country as exemplified by Tim McVeigh and William Pierce has ever enjoyed such a nod even from those such as myself who could be considered hard core right wing. Nearly all conservatives(whether hard core or RINO) condemn the actions of McVeigh and Identity dogma unequivocally. (even though we have shared views on RKBA and "culture war")
I do agree that the Afghans need our help against the Taliban and .....I hate to use that word..."nation building".
Any government to succeed in Afghanistan will have to be weighed towards the Pushtun majority regardless.

Thanks for the heads-up, Travis. I am enraged that Bush has refused to arm the Pilots - the simplest measure to instill confidence in our Airlines.
Since they could do it themselves, they deserve to go bankrupt!...FRegards

Press the preview button while the box is empty. Then do what you want. Press the post button and hope for the best.
Or use NetScape which gives you no such problems.

And if you need "comic" relief? Israel was criticized for "checkpoints" which was inconveniencing the terrorists attempting to enter Israel. Evil Israel put up checkpoints. LOL. Tell it to New Yorkers attempting to get into Manhattan.
Checkpoints are severe for trucks entering Manhattan. They figure a truck with a bomb or who knows what can do the most damage. I hear traffic is moving at a crawl in Manhattan and trying to enter it
