The country never engaged in a 78 day bombing campaign in order to teach a recalcitrant foreign People the lessons of "humanitarianism". Such brutality would have been unthinkable. Bill Clinton bombed the hell out of the Serbs so that he could build a false legacy. You can stick your paintbrush where the sun don't shine. I wasn't for bombing our historic allies, not was I for genocide against Muslims, if it were proven. Who the hell do you think you are, painting my nation with your skewed perspective, then expecting us to accept your bilge?
Askel, re-read Jonah before you write us all off. Just waht was it again that restrained God from raining fire down on Ninevah? Enjoy your dinner and drinks ... the cheesecake sounds marvelous.

Bill Clinton bombed the hell out of the Serbs so that he could build a false legacy.Oh, Bill Clinton did it all without any help from anyone? He had but 60 days to do that...
For an American you are remarkably ignorant of our institutional structures. Does the phrase "checks and balances" mean anything to you?

"...Bill Clinton bombed the hell out of the Serbs..."
I really think Bill Clinton has become an unhealthy fetish for some people. The idea that the bombing of the Serbs was solely his brainchild is too fantastic to be believed. The entire apparatus of our government, our coporate press, and a huge number of the population, supported that grotesque bombing.
But I also realize that examination of the National Conscience is not a popular thing around here these days....

I don't see why criticism of the "US" as government (including what Gorbachev calls "corporate governance" as imposed by our HR peer group collectives) is misconstrued as some sort of attack on individual Americans like those with whom I'm in solidarity here on the forum.
