Jamie Glazov is an idiot. Even if we kill Ben Ladin...there are a hundred more to take his place. Consider Israel. There are counties in my state bigger than Israel, and they have been fighting Palestinian terrorism within it's borders for 50 years (with US technology). This person thinks the US can eradicate a global terror network? Give me a break.

I disagree. The Carthaginians were no threat to Rome after the Punic Wars. There were no slave uprisings after Spartacus was defeated. The Confederacy was deal a severe blow that the South has never forgotten during Sherman's march to the Sea. I believe that it is the Muslim world that must understand us. They have a fundamental misunderstanding of the West and the US in particular. They view our giving them the oil fields as weakness that they can exploit. They would never have done that as they believe that every area that Muslims conquered is forever Muslim land, like Israel which they conquered from the Byzantine Empire.

We don't have to eradicate it....we only have to make the Goverments/Leaders that sponser it FEAR us in a way that only a tactical nuclear weapon can cause. We should immediately use such force against the region/goverment that we feel(have intelligence)is most responsible for terrorism, whether the WTC or previous acts. Then we declare that if attacks continue against us we will step up the use of force next time.

These people already hate us.....we can do nothing to make them hate us anymore.....BUT....we can make them AFRAID.....VERY AFRAID.

People like Sadam etc.. are egotistical, narsasistic bastards who faced with losing what they have will in my opinion take care of the terrorist in large part themselves.

Wait just a minute... Check out history... The "Arab/Israeli" conflict could have been laid to rest years ago, if not for intervention by the Soviet Union, America, most mostly, the UN. In the 1956, 1967, and 1973 wars, Israel was able to land a "killing blow" on the Arab nations, permanently taking out their ability to wage war, but they were stopped! The Israeli army had the majority of the Egyptian army surrounded, and Israel held the entire Sinai, and had a strong foothold into Egypt, and in the North, the IDF was less than 50 miles from Damascus, Syria! In all of these wars, I find it interesting that the UN did NOTHING when Israel was attacked (granted, in 1956, Israel did a pre-emptive strike against the Arab armies massing on its' borders), but the UN never stepped in to stop the fighting until it was obvious that the Arab armies had lost the wars! It was only with the strong pressure by the US, through the UN that Israel stopped their actions.

Regarding the Palestinian terrorism, when Israel used violent and ruthless actions as retaliation, there was nowhere near the number of terrorist attacks. Only when Israel began to compromise and restrain their retaliation did the terrorists begin to operate again.
