The tin foil libertarians are as bad as the left wing socialist anti-Amrerican extremists. Both are going to hurt the government's cause in this war for their own agendas. Does the existence of a vocal opposition threaten the ability of the U.S. government to wage war successfully? There are many who would blame/praise the anti-war movement for the U.S. defeat in Viet Nam. Others, however, would say that such a conclusion is false. The leaders waged war and were defeated. Had the anti-war movement been suppressed, would America have been victorious in Viet Nam?
I dont know the answer to the question. I can recognize arguments on both sides.
Certainly the anti-war movement did have influence over domestic politics. That is obvious.
Will extensive suppression of civil liberties lead to victory over our enemies?

No apologies for that post required. Because that is what we'll get doses off on teleivion. And if you can't handle the reality of what those animals have done to us, and seek to live in permanent denial, fine. That's your life and opinion. But this is war. Grow up and accept what the means to our nation, at home and abroad.
To: Nuke'm Glowing, Inspector Harry Callahan
I for one could care less if I never see another post from the good Inspector. He is a universally tedious know-it-all who spends most of his time tearing down FR, adding little to discussion otherwise.
Hey Harry, if FR is so horrible, why are you still cluttering up threads with your babble?
To: Abundy, Sandy, Inspector Harry Callahan, Twodees, AnnaZ, tex-oma, sit-rep
With the National I.D. proposal and the development of a Homeland Security Squad...sorry, people, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions...like wars against ideals rather than war against specific, identified enemies.
The War On Terrorism (with Homeland Security) is in real danger of linking with the DEA and their War On Drugs to become the Partnership For A No-Knock America.
To: Roscoe
Lysander Spooner was a wannabe terrorist. Demonstrably false.

No, CSAZ is back as imberedux. Nuke'm is some other former disruptor. It's obvious, and has been since it first posted with that obnoxious screen name.Yeah, your right, I forgot that new incarnation for CZAZ. But I do remember this guy from his being spurned by libertarians and his subsequent anti-libertarian rhetoric. You can always tell them because they will always stretch whatever thread they are on to impossible lengths to attack freedom lovers. I'll have to try to remember who this guy was before.
It's one thing to snivel your way back in and quite another to use this attack on America as an excuse to begin to spew hate all over again.

DISRUPTOR.
IF a disruptor is someone who supports the troops in a time of war, then I am a disruptor.
If a disruptor is someone who abhors the abuses by the far left and far right equally, then I am a disruptor.
If a disruptor is someone who believes patriotic loyality to one's nation is more important than my petty political agenda at a time of war, then I am a disruptor.
If a disruptor is someone who hates the enemies of this nation because he or she understands that the stakes this time are the highest ever in our history, then I am a disruptor.
And I'll wear that title proudly.
To: Jim Robinson
Thank you Jim. You can not negotiate with radicals on the left or right, the Middle East or at home. When will our country be educated enough to realize that? The terrorists must be eliminated. Period. At all costs. This war is not about just our way of life, it's about our nation's survival. The Bill of Rights are irrelevant if there is no one left to defend them. And that's the path that scares me the most. Bowing down to our enemies in the name of "peace".
To: Nuke'm Glowing
And one more.
IF a disruptor is one who is willing to give his life to defend the Bill of Rights and Constitution, then I am a disruptor.

We'll let them know when they can stick their heads out from under the covers.

"Excellent contributors" like Demidog, who advocated the right to possess child pornography?" In the quotes I cited, demidog explicitly says he is in favor of abolishing laws against possessing child porn. To decriminalize possession is the same as establishing a the licitness of possessing it.

Don't fall into their trap by resorting to name calling like I did until HalfIrish called me on it (and rightly so). I resolved to not do it again. FRreegards

Roscoe writes:
Lysander Spooner was a wannabe terrorist. Lysander Spooner vehemently opposed slavery and Roscoe condemns him as a terrorist for it. Next he'll be condemning those who enlist in the US military so they can help fight the Taliban.
To: Abundy
I think you have it the other way around. Nobody's advocating tearing up the Constitution. Allanybody is really saying here is just don't discuss troop movements. No, this ain't a liberal website, this is a conservative website. We just have to be careful what we say in terms of stuff like this.

Oh, and I've never been banned. So please if you're going to attack me, be accurate.Sure you have. The only other possible explanation is that you simply stopped posting under your previous name because of consistently being ignored. You are surely not a new member.
And if this nick gets banned, have no fear, your opinions are muted bye the solid middle which supports the war effort now, and thankfully at that.
Nice try at painting those who disagree with your moronic war mongering as people who don't support the effort to eradicate the swine who attacked our country.
It's Jim's business not mine, but the nick will get banned soon in my opinion. I'm guessing that Jim is too busy right now with all the stupid vanity posts he has to spike to fool with the idiotic screen names. But I won't be surprised if he gets around to it soon.

Quote someone out of context when they are unable to clarify their statements and call it proof?
What a cowardly act.
