I would be digging very hard into the recently arrived (last 5 years) new owners of fuel and chemical distribution businesses.

Your point was well put. Do you think the terrorists will waste themselves on acts such as a single tanker when the storage facilities from which those tankers are filled are so accessible? I have no doubt that Atta would have saved himself for another attack somewhere else had he known of a way to fly that jet into the WTC without getting himself vaporized.

The concern was prompted by the fact that a couple of the dead hijackers and a very small number of people on the watch list had booked flights for that date.

Maybe the dead hijackers were on an either/or mission. It is unlikely that even these fanatical readers of Martyrdom Weekly would go on suicide missions 11 days after they went on suicide missions.
