Support our Troops Rallies!

During the election we used sites like FreeRepublic.com and LoudCitizen.com to organize rallies acroos America in support of Preisdent Bush.

I think it's time for us to start organizing some more rallies, we need to have some "Support our Troops" rallies that we can photograph and video tape to send our troops who are risking their lives to protect us and hunt down the terrorists so that they can watch them for encouragement and know that they have our support.

I freeped for G.W. in Chicago then, and I`ll be proud to support our troops now! But lets not forget the leftists who are gathering even now to try to demoralize our nation, did you listen to Rush today(not to mention ManCow)? We need to organize to counter their every traiterous show of disloyalty with a massive and peaceful show of support for our country and it`s military men and women.

We need all of the Freepers to report here where the "left" are planning their protest this weekend, and we need to bring out Old Glory and show them what real Americans look like!!

I got this site www.9-11peace.org from a FreeRepublic thread, but I have not visited it yet.Looks like a little scouting may be in order, I`ll report back in a minute.BTW maybe trying a meta-engine search of "peace activist" or "Pacifist" will help.

It looks like democraticunderground.com and actionsf.org are organizing a big rally in San Francisco and Washington on September 29th. Here is the information I found on actionsf.org's site:

We need to make sure that if we show up we are patriotic and not rude, we can't be yelling at the "left" or the media will get that on tape and that is what the world will see.

We want the media to see us singing patriotic songs, praying togther, holding our signs that say "Support our Troops", and other POSITIVE things. This will tick the "left" off and they will end up being the ones on tape yelling and carrying on like mad men.

Let's unite together behind our Troops!!!

I agree. Do you know of anyone who could alert NY Freepers? Although I believe NY is already going to have a memorial rally this weekend. You know, Edie Donahey(spelling?) on "Fox and Friends" has been really getting out the word on the anti-flag people, maybe she'd help.
